"States Away" started as five songs, then, four, and then settled on three. It features one really old song, and two semi-old songs. They were recorded in mostly two long sessions a week before our singer went on tour. It was finished about two months later.

A Selfless Lot is Andrew, Tori, Chris, and Cassandra.
Andrew sings, screams, plays guitar and wears his heart on his chest.
Tori pounds on the drums and is generally pretty chill.
Cassandra plays bass, sings, and is probably the nicest person in the band.
Chris plays guitar, sings, and makes really bad jokes at shows while the band is tuning or changing strings.

"States Away" was recorded at The Back Porch between June-July 2012.
